PPG was found in 1883
under the company name as Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company, its main business
at that time was making of high-quality thick glass using the plate process.
Today PPG has diversified into other business, but supply of glass,
including fiber-glass still remains PPG’s second-largest business segment in
PPG group.
Topcast is proud of representing PPG in Great China and Southeast Asia. Not
only is PPG the largest glass producer in North America, it is also the
world’s largest maker of aircraft transparencies. Its transparencies install
onboard Boeing, Airbus, Fokker, Gulfstream and McDonnell Douglass.
Topcast is also being appointed by PPG as their AOG logistic centre. We
